Technical skills -. Competent in below skills
1. ABAP workbench including writing new and modifying existing ABAP & ALV reports (Static & Interactive), Data Dictionary, User exits, Customer exits, BADIs, SAP Queries, Module Pool Programming and Dialog programs
2. Knowledge of Interfaces is essential, including BAPIs, ALE and IDOCs, RFCs.
3. SAP script and Smart forms
4. Basic Concepts of Object Oriented ABAP, Enhancement
5. BDC & LSMW
6. Good documentation skills for converting Functional specifications to Technical specifications
7. Systems analysis, design, and testing
8. Program documentation
Typical Duties -
# Codes SAP modules and complex functions using ABAP programming language.
# Creates specialized reports for SAP modules using ABAP programming language.
# Designs forms for SAP modules using SAP script.
# Troubleshoots and corrects SAP module problems by using ABAP programming language to implement OSS notes.
# Modifies system screens to provide default values and eliminate unnecessary fields using transaction variants.
# Interfaces with business analysts to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures to information technology
# Assists in defining technical requirements for on-going systems maintenance and future functionality.
# Provides technical support to users on matters related to the programming of SAP modules.
# Prepares comprehensive and thorough technical program documentation including.
specifications, test conditions, test plans, test data, etc.
General skills - Needs to have Good Oral and written communication skills; good analytical and problem solving capability; Ready to work in UK shift timings, flexible to put extra efforts;
experience in handling international clients; SAP certification will be preferred; Worked as independent ABAP consultant on real life SAP Implementation, Roll-out & Support projects; Minimum 1 end-to-end implementation experience required.
