Job Description
1.Expected to do Plan, Design, Implementation projects for Datacenter, Campus , LAN and WAN networks.
2.Should be comfortable in doing ongoing subscription based network consulting projects for Campus, DC, LAN and WAN.
3.Should have a good understanding of the service components like Firewalls and Load - balancers in the Datacenter.
4.Should lead the projects and / or contribute actively to the team working on specific assignments / projects.
5.Should be comfortable in discussing and designing / implementing the DC architectures using the Cisco Nexus and UCS components.
6.Proficiency in designing / deploying in LAN / WAN topologies using routing protocols like OSPF / ISIS and BGP
7.Expected to understand the Software life - cycle of the major Cisco products.
8.Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMWare / Hyper - V is essential.
9.Good understanding of SAN. The candidate should understand storage technologies like zoning, vSAN.
9.Knowledge of Service provider MPLS / MPBGP networks is a big plus.
1.Experience on Nexus products - Nexus 7K, Nexus 5K, Nexus 3K, FEX, UCS, MDS Switches.
2.Experience in the virtualization components - Nexus 1000v, VMWare / Hyper - V etc.
3.Experience working on C6500, C7600 on Campus LAN / WAN design and deployments.
4.Experience in designing and deploying VDC, VPC, OTV, Fabricpath, FCoE and Multi - tenancy in the datacenter.
5.Experience working with Cisco software and the basic understanding of the product software life - cycle.
6.Knowledge and experience with EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP protocols
7.Knowledge and / or experience discussing / designing / implementing SP backbone technologies like MPLS / BGP,L3VPN would be a big plus.
8.Experience or exposure to ACI will be plus
9. Experience in Python, Java, Linux and software skills
