- Responsibilities:
Excellent communication skills and must be comfortable with interacting with the business.
Ability to create and align IT deliverables to the business needs.
Experience with machine learning techniques (e.g. supervised vs. un-supervised learning)
Experience creating data structures to support machine learning models.
Experience with multiple programming languages and analytic tools such as SAS, R, Tableau.
Work with cross-functional teams to develop actionable, high-impact data analytics solutions
Work with business domain, operations research and IT experts to identify detailed data needs, processes, and appropriate sources.
Develop creative data acquisition solutions, driving the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources, collaborating with data warehouse engineers on data selection, preprocessing and formatting
Develop a deep understanding of data trends; identify outliers, exceptions and data inconsistencies
Lead the generation of data dictionaries, anthology management, data quality assurance reports, data validation decks and data summary reports
Provable track record of success and adapt to the current environment with an agile drive to innovate
At least 5 years in analyzing source system data and data flows using SQL, data visualization and other techniques, working with structured and unstructured data
Experience with analytics systems design & development
Ability to look at the big picture and divide the long term vision into concise discrete near-term deliverables.
Highly collaborative work style with exceptional listening and communication skills, and the ability to work closely and iteratively with analytic modelers, business subject matter experts, and other IT teams
Should be open to travel to client locations in India / abroad for short / long term duration depending on the project requirements.
Qualification & Experience:-
Expected to have 7+ Years of work experience in developing and deploying sophisticated analytical solutions.
Key technical skills:
SAS Base, SAS DI, SAS E-miner, Text Miner, predictive modeling, R, Tableau, Python
Good communication skills
P&C Insurance Domain Knowledge an added advantage
